Hope Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer group in North Carolina that helps save dogs and find them new homes. They work to make sure all animals are treated with kindness and care, but their main focus is on homeless and at-risk pets.
The goal of Hope Animal Rescue is to protect abandoned or abused pets and find them good homes. They speak up for dogs and their well-being and work on outreach projects to help people get closer to their pets.
The goal of Hope Animal Rescue is to make a place where all adoptable dogs find loving homes. They want to live in a place where no pets die because there are too many of them in shelters and rescues.
This year, Hope Animal Rescue also saved more than 350 dogs and helped many families in trouble.
Here are some pictures of some of the dogs they have that you can adopt.
The rescue also needs people who can take in dogs and help out.
Meet Melba!
Melba is a small beagle mix that weighs only 27 pounds. If you want a small dog to sit on your lap, you’ve come to the right place. Melba is a dog that likes people and wants to be with them. She likes to be petted, and when she’s comfortable with you, she likes to give kisses.
Hi, my name is Chimichurri!
And just like my namesake, I’m just what you need to add some spice to your life. I’m a sweet, active, and curious little dog who loves being with his people. I’m about 5 years old, weigh about 14 pounds, and have a lot of personality. If you have an empty lap, I’ll jump right on and make myself comfortable. But sometimes I like exploring and seeing what’s going on outside the window just as much as I like being with you.
“Hello!” I’m Josephine.
Thank you for reading about me! I’m about 3 years old, but a real lady never says how old she is. Aside from that, I don’t have many secrets, and I have so much to tell you! I like to play with toys and hang out wherever you are, so I’m a great work-from-home buddy. I love animals, and I won’t be shy about telling you when I want one. I’m not a girl who has to try hard to get what she wants.
Hi, I’m Sugar
She is a very special girl who needs a very special person to take her in. Sugar came to us after she was shot and found at a gas station. She is now completely better and is looking for a new place to live where she can really start over. Sugar has many great qualities that would make her a wonderful friend for the right person. She knows how to go to the bathroom and use a crate. She enjoys long walks and would do best with an owner who is active and takes her on adventures in the woods.
Hello, my name is Tootie!
I’m only 2 years old, but I had a hard start to life. I was found as a pregnant stray, but eventually I was brought to Hope Animal Rescue by someone. I like to play and cuddle, and all I want in life is good food, chew toys, and a warm, loving home to call my own. I know where to go to the bathroom and can settle down quickly in my crate. I’m also good at teaching people how to walk well with a leash.
